The 1st edition of the "Local" newspaper is filled with inaccurate information.
ReplyDeleteBaxter was not the Mayor when Rafael came on board, he did not hire a "Headhunter", the council did. He was only a council member in March 2011 when Rafael was Hired as City Manager.
Baxter was quoted as saying Freedom of Information request are pretty much filled instantly. Of the last 15 submitted, only 1 took less than 10 days. 10 business days at that.
Also, the "Local" reported that Baxter, et al, BROUGHT Rackspace to us. Not so. In 2006-2007, our EDC worked hard to bring Rackspace to Windcrest. Alan wasn't even voting then. Alan has also stated that he "saved" Rackspace from leaving, when Rackspace became frustrated over Racker Road. Again, not true, and the Rackers I talked with were enraged to hear this.
